Pep Guardiola: ”It’s always a little tough after international breaks but we played well. Our attitude, organisation and transitions were good. It was much easier once we scored the first goal. It’s another three points to us, and we’ll now concentrate on the Champions League.”
Thomas Müller: ”We’re delighted for our fans, nothing more and nothing less. We’re very pleased with a 6-0 win, although it’s not as though it was offered us on a plate, even if it may have looked easy from the outside. You always have to work hard for six goals, win the challenges, cover the ground and create chances. It’s tough for every team coming to Munich and it’s even more difficult if you’re on a poor run.”
Philipp Lahm: ” Anyone who backed me to score twice today is very rich now. The chance of me scoring a single goal is very low, and I’ve never managed a brace before! I don’t know if it’ll ever happen again but it’s nice for me personally. The important thing was calming it all down after going a goal up. It was a superb team performance and a comfortable victory. It was exactly what we set out to do. Now we’re aiming to take something from the game in Rome.”
